Baton Rouge Community Radio WHYR 96.9 FM is an all-volunteer effort. We utilize volunteers in every part of the station. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please complete and submit our Volunteer Interest Form and a member of our team will connect with you.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Cultivating and scheduling social media promotions
Development and fundraising
Drafting communications pieces for our newsletter and website
Event planning
Graphic design
Outreach and tabling at local events
Soliciting underwriting support from local businesses
Station operations (bookkeeping, data entry, organizing, cleaning)
