WHYR Announced as Grand Marshal of Mid City Gras

WHYR is excited to announce that our radio station has been selected as the 2022 Grand Marshal for Mid City Gras! Mid City Gras is a celebratory parade highlighting the essence of Mid City and showcasing the diversity of our community with a spirit of inclusiveness that positively contributes to the progression of our city. This parade will roll on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1 p.m. down North Blvd.

Baton Rouge Community Radio's progressive and psych rock show Nether Street, airing Wednesdays 10:00pm - midnight with Clyde Cleburne and robot side-kicks Laura and Graham, is out with a special Space Rock episode featuring Hawkind, David Bowie, German Krautrock, and lots more.
