Le Show brings (increasingly indistinguishable from reality) political satire to WHYR Tuesdays at 6:00pm

Baton Rouge Community Radio welcomes Le Show, the hour-long weekly satire, current events, and music program hosted by Harry Shearer (voice of a bunch of The Simpsons, band member of Spinal Tap, among other things). The show, often recorded in New Orleans, features a scathing and absurd take on the scathing and absurd times we live in. ‘Copyrighted features of the broadcast’ include News of the Warm, Karzai TalkNews of the Olympic Movement and News of the Godly. Mr. Shearer is also known to read from trade magazines, slide into momentary impressions of Tom Brokaw, bash the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and nuclear power industry, play Brazilian Bossa Nova and his own unique musical compositions. You’ve just got to check it out.

You can hear Le Show here in Baton Rouge on 96.9FM every Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
