Tune in for the world premiere of The Black Xperience on WHYR, live Thursday April 13th @ 6:00pm

WHYR-LP is pleased to premiere more live, local programming by and for Baton Rougeans you won’t hear anywhere else. This Thursday, April 13th at 6:00pm tune in live for the world premiere of The Black Xperience, hosted by Joker P and DJ Kam, on 96.9FM or streaming at whyr.org .  The weekly one-hour live program will feature news, commentary, interviews and music on the African-American experience in Baton Rouge and around the United States.

And stay tuned to WHYR for more new local and syndicated programming coming to Baton Rouge Community Radio in the next month. We’ll be rolling out new music, talk, and more from right here and around the world.

In Case You Missed It: More allegations of corruption in the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources with whistleblower Dan Collins

WHYR’s 3/8 episode of A Pause For Thought featured Mr. Dan Collins, who successfully won a $750,000 whistleblower lawsuit against the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (LDNR), with more allegations of corruption within the agency related to a dredging project in the Atchafalaya Basin.
