Starting Monday, October 3rd, every weekday afternoon at 3:55pm Baton Rouge Community Radio will air National Native News, a daily five-minute news program about Native issues. And WHYR is the only place you can hear it on the radio in the state of Louisiana, a state home to four federally-recognized Native American nations and numerous others still seeking recognition.
National Native News is a broadcast of the Koahnic Broadcast Corporation and is syndicated by the Native Voice One Radio Network (NV1); Baton Rouge Community Radio is a proud affiliate of NV1. Listen every afternoon right before Democracy Now! to National Native News – News for all Americans.
